I'm Doug McCubbins, a member of the Southern Highland Craft Guild, and I've been designing and constructing soft handmade leather purses and accessories since 1975. I personally make every item I sell, so you can be sure it's done correctly. My designs are simple and strong, the kind of leather purses you could find at craft shows in the 1970's. All of my bags are intended to be soft and unstructured with no fabric linings, no stiffeners, and no synthetic materials (except the nylon zippers and thread, of course). I design the patterns, cut and sew the leather, and ship the bags directly from my workshop in Asheville, NC. The Everyday is one of my most popular bags. The size and shape allow it to hold a variety of items with ease and style. The shoulder strap adjusts from 32" to 38" with a solid brass buckle. Large unlined main compartment with a slip pocket on the outside front, a long zipper pocket on the outside back, and a full size inside zipper pocket. The smoothly rounded flap of the Mama Flapper closes with a durable magnetic snap and is trimmed with hand rolled "French" binding. Inside the bag you'll find a large slip pocket and a large zipper pocket all cut from the same leather as the exterior. There's a another nice slip pocket on the outside back for keys, cellphone, mail, or other items you need to keep handy. A small slip pocket for your cell phone is sewn inside.
